Thankfully I haven’t had to use under an emergency situation. I did test it out and it works as advertised. I bought the same one for my dad and he plays with it and uses the radio all the time! He loves it for every day use.

A bit confusing at first, I’m getting older and my eyesight isn’t what it was. Once the buttons were doped out, it was a pleasure to use. Besides the obvious emergency use (I live in Florida), I keep it at the bedside to listen to while getting ready. The flashlight is a welcome addition as well and great to locate necessities in the dark. All in all, well-thought out!
